The Mother's Day Call

It's Mother's Day and we just got off the phone with Elder Wallace...so great to talk to him!  He is doing well and his Spanish is coming along.  The ward mission leader's wife told him how to kill the fleas in his bed.  He found the spray she told him to use in his apartment and said his bed smells TERRIBLE now, but he's certain the fleas are all dead.  He eats lunch with members of the church every day and usually it's some kind of soup and a rice dish.  He said he has chicken parts soup a lot and the other day had a whole chicken foot in his soup, so I posted this photo taken by Elder Thomas who is in the same mission.  He says they are teaching a lot of people and have 2 baptisms coming up at the end of May.  They usually don't have to look for people to teach.  Generally they only knock doors when an appointment falls through, so that is awesome!  He says to tell everyone hi.  It sounds like he is getting mail about every week, but I think it takes a long time to get back and forth, so if you have something you want to e-mail him, you can send it to me and I'll add it on his e-mail or you can put it as a comment here and I'll forward it to him.
